Something you don’t see every day

After a night of gruelling talks following the official end of the United Nations Climate Change conference, the United States caved in and agreed to support a pact to negotiate emissions cuts of between 25 and 40 per cent by 2020.

I’m sorry, I’m sure this is all a big meaningless compromise and whatever but when was the last time you read that phrase?

The United States caved in.

The United States caved in.

The United States caved in.

Feels good, doesn’t it?

6×8

I don’t usually do “memes” as you know, but I promised to do this one to bribe Elsewhere to join Facebook, so I guess I’d better come through with the goods:

8 people who should totally (as in ‘totally’ do this meme)…

Well, I’m not sure I read that many blogs by people who do memes, so I’ll have to mention 8 people I know on Facebook. Incidentally Facebook has a little-used blogging-esque feature called “Notes” which would be ideal for doing this meme if you were so inclined:
